The founder of Jesus Followers Motorcycle Ministry is Chris Rivera from Orlando, Florida. Brother Chris has his own testimony from when he was adopted at seven years of age; grew up ultra-conservative in a religious setting; went to meet his biological father, mother and siblings at fourteen; rebelled as a teenager; ran with New York street gangs stealing cars and selling drugs; landed in jail; abused drugs and alcohol; went through a divorce and lost it all; become homeless; and still God had a plan for his life. God restituted everything Brother Chris had lost, including giving him a new family, home, new business; and made him whole again and doubled his blessings. All because he rededicated his life to Christ and decided to become a Jesus follower.

Brother Chris participated in other motorcycle groups but felt God was calling him to do something different, something that would bring people together from different cultures, backgrounds and languages; a ministry that would profess who Jesus is and His promise to return one day. After much prayer, the Holy Spirit gave him the name Jesus Followers and it was game on from there. God has been behind this ministry because there is still a people in the world that must hear who He is and how He can save people from addictions, restore marriages, reunite families, return businesses and make his children whole once again.
